The idea for Captio came from direct experience. When our sons were college freshmen, the emails and calls home weren't about classes or dorm life — they were about late fees on credit cards, prescription information, and where an e-ticket might be hiding.

Although our sons were ready for academics, they were less equipped for Life 101. Thus, the CollegeCase organizer was born. We developed it to help them and other students make a seamless transition to independent living. Our sons and their friends were our first customers.

The CollegeCase organizer was the first in our line of "organizers with a twist" - part book, part file, tailored for a particular life stage. Now, in addition to helping students manage life at college, we also help high school juniors and seniors with the complex college application process the AppliCase organizer.

And when these same students graduate and join the work world, we have an organizer that works for them as well as for their taxpaying parents: the TaxCase organizer.

What's next? We have lots of ideas, thanks to customer suggestions. Watch this site for other innovative organizers from Captio.
